i am experiencing flickering and occasional shut off of my hids (But only when the car is on) I have a 2006 mustang gt an i got hids for the outer main lights not the fog lights. Do i need a relay kit or an anti flicker capacitor? or both? i also just ordered hid kit for the fog lights to so i will have to kits together for the car. Thanks for the video, but I've got an idea to share because the resulting picture and video are more important than the light itself, right? Instead of showing the lights, which won't be seen in the videos we make, shouldn't you show the subject. For instance, "This is Mark with a halogen pointed at him... This is Mark with a softbox on either side." Etc... Please share what type of lighting you were using to make this video! Maybe I just haven't found the proper tutorial yet.

@petenicezz You're experiencing what's called a "hot spot". Try angling the light so that it's not pointing directly at the screen, move the light back away from the screen a bit or for best results use diffused lighting (soft box or umbrella). Hope this helps.

you said the matches were out of a "US Military MRE". This is not the case. The company that makes MRE's for the military does not sell or provide their MRE's to the civilian market. it was likely from a MRE manufactured by a civilian company. Besides, the matches out of a US military MRE have writing on the front of the cover, and the cover is OD Green, not hunter green as shown in your video.

Adorable! I have a family of them living in the woods just behind my house. I don't dare try to get this close because I'm sure mama would move them. The kits are about this age...just starting to turn reddish. It's wonderful to stand and watch them from the edge of the woods or from my house when I can catch a glimpse through the trees.

I hate these tri-angle rods, use just plain round rods, that way you can just twist them a little when too much metal accumulates on the ceramic when you sharpen your knives.

@TheTntuser Not quite true. It will work on any knife with a bevel thinner than the chosen slot. I sharpen with a coarse stone at 12 degress (24 total) then go to the 15 degree slot (30 total). Before the 40, I use a 34. You can rebevel a knife using the 30 degree slots on the Sharpmaker, it just takes a lot of time. You will probably want a coarse stone to go with the Sharpmaker. A cheap $5 coarse hardware stone will work. Just rebevel the knives thinner than 40, then move to this tool.

@75SilentWarrior That depends on how OCD you are about your knives. I can get an edge that will whittle hair after the flats of the standard white stones. I've never tried the UF stones, so I may not know what I'm missing. The full size Spyderco benchstone in UF grit gets rave reviews for that final edge polish.
