As for the Chuck Norris thing I was just going on what I saw him [chuck] say in a documentery years ago though I could have been mistaken, bruce did found a new fighting style. I wouldn't know how he would do agains the other fighters people have said. I never heard him say that about Ali before but I will take your word for it

@vaggoner I see what you're saying but Bruce isn't your average street brawler with no skills other than throwing the haymaker. He was very well rounded as a martial artist and not only had training in kung fu, karate, and boxing but jiu jitsu, judo, filipino kali and other styles as well. I mean he was in a totally different league than somebody like Kimbo Slice that you're thinking about. Not everybody trains to fight to compete but it still doesn't mean they couldn't fight if they had to.

To that college every year was organized a co Inter-school boxing contest. To that contest since 3 years winner was Gary Elms, who was British. So it was about a Inter-School amateur boxing championship.Have nothing to do with a UK boxing champion.

@MrToopowerful Well everything is exaggerated in the movies but I know what you mean. All of these people that say Bruce couldn't fight in real life have no idea what they're talking about. Sure we don't know how he would've done in a modern day mma fight with all the restrictions and all, but he didn't train or fight for competitions. He was a streetfighter from youth onward. His skill, speed, power, all of that he geared towards what would allow him to win on the street where it counts.

Lesnar is a novice who has way more muscle mass than most people, the fact that he has enough natural talent (not saying much) to get by separates him from the likes of Kimbo Slice, nothing more -- but he's winning with that. Look at the Pride fights with Sakuraba and Silva. SIlva dominated a much more superior fighter in Sakuraba 3 times in his prime. Without gloves, it'd be a different story.

In MMA you can do that with kicks, knees and elbows which don't have padding plus it's been scientifically proven (See Sport Science - Bas Rutten's demonstration) that a bare fisted punch does not generate much more force upon impact than a punch with an MMA glove. MMA is a sport but most of the effective techniques from Traditional Martial Arts are allowed. It doesn't severely handicap any style.

Okay, I've listened and watched new artists. With the exception of a few - I don't know whether to watch their boobs, butt, costume, hair or what. One thing I can't find is their true voice. @kahlitamichelle81 well I believe that people are being manipulated by their instinctual drives... and one that works on everyone is the desire to belong. One of the stereotypes that exist for black males is the uneducated and poor one, and unfortunately for the uneducated and poor, of this group, they do look for very obvious symbols, in this case Bling. It's the instinctual drives that are being manipulated and they are what TV and film live off of. It's the insecurity that is exploited.

nothing is shoved down yr throat from tv or popular media, popular media lives off of the culture and is informed by the desires and attitudes of the culture... it's not the other way around. If it didn't resonate with the people as something they understand it wouldn't be used, because it would have no effect. So, it is about image and the images are about the subtext.

It's precedent in itself for America as a whole because having a black president or a minority president for that matter has never been done before and the fact the he's black, I totally get that. However, the idea of bling being a symbol of status feeds and perpetuates the stereotype. That's what's shoved down our throats from TV and music videos, bling. Their whole culture is reactionary to the shame they feel due to the stereotyping they live with. Symbols of wealth are used to counter their perception of them as poor, uneducated and stupid. Why is it, that when a black man gets asked a question about the President, the answer is always "we as blacks..." when it should be "we as Americans..." Yea it's the first time we've had a black president, that's cool really it is, but instead of focusing on that, lets focus on what the President can and will do in his presidency. @TheEleblanc hi. youwill need the following 1. lcd proector 2. pc with bluetooth 3. wii remote 4. infra red pen(look on ebay there's loads of them) what you need to do is set up the projector with the pc and make shure the bluetooth is on. turn on your wii remote. search for bluetooth device on pc. pair the remote with the pc. get the software from the link in description. install it. place the remote in clear view of the screen. run the software. calibrate the pen and your away to go

This can work but the trouble is you don't know exactly how much power to give it, and of course, you lose the use of the remote control. Johny Lee uses the VISHAY TSAL 6400 IR LED. It is perfect for this applicaiton because it is bright and has a wide viewing angle. I sell these for less then you can get them for at Radio Shack and they will be delivered right to your door.

You might enjoy my video: Setting up Smoothboard 2.0 - Part 1 of 2 WBSW. It goes into a lot more detail, and you don't have to make an IR pen. I have made and sold 100s of them.
