You have gorgeous face structure- your cheekbones have really shone through since you lost all that weight. Also, I use Healthy Skin Liquid by Neutrogena and Colorstay by Revlon---which are cheaper alternatives to NARS (which I LOVE,)

I have found that mixing a little of your moisturizer with a little of the foundation in your hand makes application easier because it doesn't dry up so quickly - gives you some more time to apply. Trick is not to over moisturize, so use a little less when you apply your moisturizer after you wash your face.

@twiztedsweetness21 Hi there! The Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Foundation can build up to a medium coverage. I have it in Tan (the darkest color) and I find it's a bit too light for me (I'm NC 45) so if I build up the coverage my face would be lighter than my neck. I got it at CVS for $13.99 and it feels wonderful on my skin. I don't find it to be drying at all and it gives you a nice dewy-ness look (not shiny). However, I do prefer a dewy look as opposed to a matte look esp for summer.

some people want to depot their eyeshadows because they have collected a bunch throughout the years, people who do not have palettes or didn't know about them until recently and don't buy refills. those said people have realized that it is possible to take them out of the containers and put them into palettes and use the empty containers for back to MAC. at least that's my situation. thanks for the video very helpful and easy :)

I'm a MAC fanatic....however, I don't discriminate when it comes to MakeUp. I like to try and use all products to compare differences. The Revlon Color Stay is a pretty good foundation for the price it sells for in the drugstores. If you want to save a few dollars, go for the Revlon Color Stay....if you're all about brand names....then go for the MAC Studio Fix Fluid. I go for any....I love MakeUp!! I agree, I tried so many foundations in the last years and never found the right shade they are either too yellow or too pink until i found Revlon colorstay shade "sand beige" I recommend using a stippling brush for an airbrushed finish and be careful to chose the right type "combination / oily skin" or "Normal to dry skin" as it will make a difference.

What do you think about mixing vanilla MAC pigment into Revlon Colorstay? Do you think that would be a good idea? The problem is that, I love the colorstay foundation but the lightest is still not light enough for me. I tried the MUFE HD Foundation and my oily skin shows through really quickly compared to the colorstay. Also I have issues with acne and oily t-zone. I also thought about adding sunscreen to the foundation to make it a lighter color, but it would change consistency though.

Revlon is kicking MAC's butt in terms of quality AND price. MAC foundations seem to be too synthetic and feel thick on the skin, plus aren't long-lasting, as opposed to the revlon colorstay, which looks and feels super light once it's well blended in, plus it does literally last all day, moreover, it has formulas for dry, combination or oily skin. Revlon is definitely one of the best drugstore makeup brands when it comes to creating good foundations.

I bought some of the NYX 'Natural' and I really like it! I never would have tried it if not for this video. I remember thinking that it had a weird powdery looking consistancy and it looked too pink in the package but once I tried it on, it looked GREAT! It looks more peach once it goes on and I like the matte finish. I am fair with brown eyes and blonde hair and finding the right colors can be tough....Thanks for this video!

@whatevalosa111 well of course, alot of girls arent comfortable, or feel beautiful, if they have acne. It sucks, and if having foundation on aswell as concealer makes you feel beautiful then it shouldn't really be frowned upon.

I thought I should point out that when applying things to your eyelids and undereye area, you should ALWAYS use your ring finger because it exerts the LEAST amount of pressure. The skin and tissue near your eye is very sensitive. I'm glad you always tell people to use their ring finger. But some of them may have been wondering why.

When you say teens don't need a full face of foundation, I kinda disagree. It's hard walking out of your house and going to school if you have mount vesuvius on your face and concealer alone wont cover it. Some girls don't want to wear heavy foundation, but are forced to because of acne and whatnot.

You are soooo amazing!!! I began putting makeup on about 2 years ago, but I never really knew what to do, so I just put gloopy foundation and mascara on (which, now I realize, looked reallllly cakey). This video helped me so much! You are so pretty even without makeup on and you are so helpful! Thank you!!! :)
