haha .. its amazing that three years on and this story is still up there ... I remember the gamespot forum inflating very very quickly after this happened. What I really heard is that this didn't necessarily get him fired, but it probably helped the decision. And yes, GS took a serious serious toll after this, maaan, GS used to be the thing.. on the plus side, without this there probably won't be any giant bomb today, which is a neat website to have a look at after your usual GS round up.

@120Vanquish120 There's a story in Gears, as unrevealing as it is, but the fact that it reveals virtually nothing while Kane and Lynch is making an active, albeit failed attempt at story and still manages to get it wrong, that just makes it worse. Here's hoping K&L 2 isn't a total screwup like the first, though, even if it's now a complete clone of Gears.

@thecomposer100 Kane and Lynch is a game for noobs. I've got this game and beat it on Morphine in two hours. Total bullshit compared to REAL action games like GTA or Gears of War. Even the story goes to shit halfway through. If you think this is a great game, you need to go back to playing Halo. You'd be right at home with the rest of the

The weapons are very well designed but the inventory limitation really holds you back sometimes. I just drop those damn repeaters! No matter what level, they are pathetic! P.S. ATM I'm playing as a soldier who only uses 1 weapon being his revolver which does a whopping 159 damage ((bear in mind I unlocked this at LVL 13....)) + it doesnt have any elemental effects and I can still kill Lance troops in a single shot. USE REVOLVERS PEOPLE!

@cthru98 i actually have a good idea for a new genre of games. the genre would be called survival games. where the idea of the game is to stay alive or stay alive while going to or doing an objective. like u need to eat and have shelter and stuff like that. u need set up a camp and hunt (using stealth) and make ur own clothes and weapons. and i cud be on live. i thot of this game a while ago and i think it wud get many buyers becuz of the peer realism of surviving.

@MrPopyotop I would say get it, It was my favorite game of 2009. It never got boring to me, the story is very clever, but what really won me over was the easter eggs and riddler trophies everywhere. The amount of content is really vast, with enough to keep you playing and search long after you beat the game. There are also side games where you test your scores online by fighting waves of thugs.The combat system doesn't get old or boring. Truly a great game. Lots of repeat playing fun.

This game is really amazing. Great visuals, great gameplay and some fantastic voice-acting and characterisation. Plus, the main story is really good and all the gadgets, upgrades, riddles and challenges make it a really enjoyable experience. All these factors help to change up the pace of the game. Really love it. I was first put off slightly by some of the things this reviewer mentions but I was totally wrong to be. It's an outstanding game. Couldn't rate it more highly.

i have the palm pre plus, from verizon and its freaking amazing. has just as many apps as iphone, is way smaller and better looking, can multitask, and is customizable. it doesnt even have the little ball on the front so its super sleek. The only thing i wish it had was the ability to put a code on it for unlocking.

Apple fanboys can suck my scrote. In the end, The pre is made of cheaper materials, and runs a little slower, but costs half price retail, and the plans are waaay cheaper. AT&T iphone plan = min. $80/month. I have the same plan but with Fave 10 #'s, unlimited text, and extended evenings for $35/month. Also, the software on the pre is better. While Apple is extremely restrictive, Palm encourages "jailbreaking" the phone, for example, with Preware.

This game is incredible, at first I really wasn't that interested because i just sounded really boring, but it draws you in, a lot of people compare it to a movie and in some ways it is, but it has more, haven't you ever seen a movie and thought, 'why'd he do that? All it does is make getting from level to level harder. I like hub worlds generally in these games, but if their only purpose is to get you from level to level, then I'd rather have a world map. Sunshine had a hub world that had secrets in it and its own Shines, same thing with Super Mario 64.

my brother got this for me about the time that it was released in China and looking at it now, the price is cut in half... Brother got it for 10 000 (EEK) or more (EEK is the currency of Estonia)... it's a nice camera. The videos you can make look good and sound good. The built in mic worked better than i thought it would be :D Lot's of cameras and mp3 players have had the mic but alot of them haven't worked that well

to start with, this game is actually fun (if you like sensless killing) but you can make money by doing strange shit (like me, who had 1900 health potions O.o) just sell potions (sell ALL) and buy them back (buy ALL) you sell at max price and buy at minimum! about 1million per min or more. also, take Berserk, i 3 hit last boss with it O.o, just good sword + str and stuff

@somberlight Fable was still a free game because it gave you so many different ways to kill your enemies and battle, even though you were constricted by invisible walls I think Fable 1 had a lot of charm and Fable 2 pales in comparison, even though it was a more "open" game
