@blackjoker12 EyeDrops was really cool. Although when I watched it I was like 15-17...I used to go out and party with my Friends and I just remember late at night I would be Trippin watching Eyedrops.LOL Then sometimes I would watch Martin Sargent. Dude was Late NIght TV to me. Good times man....Now Old people we are.

I miss TechTV I honestly wish It was still around. Its the reason why I got into the computer and tech area. I was about 10 or 11 can't remember But I know I was in 6th grade when my dad was watching ScreenSavers when I came home from school and it was imo awesome! I disagree on they'll never be a channel 100% about tech. Who knows maybe some one in the future that loved what tech TV did will bring back the shows we all loved. My Fav was "Eye Drops" Came on at 7:30am Watch it before school! :)

i grew up on g4 (16) and as a kid i remmebr it was non stop gaming , and not so much anymore. its still one of my favorite channels. its good shows are on for 2 hours in every day. the only shows i watch on it are x play, attack of the show. and the annual e3

Wtf is TechTv? But by looking it up it looked good. So R.I.P two good networks. BTW:G4 in the day was alllll about games.

I miss ZDTV and TechTV. Miss the Screen Savers and Call For Help. G4 Could at least put these shows back on as reruns. But what do you expect from G4. G4 sucks! Not worth watching!

I wouldn't say there will not be another channel focused on technology - I think the idea holds some merits, and if TV companies were smarter they would have done something like TechTV wayyy before it was done. Getting to my point here: I think there will be a channel focused on technology 24/7. I don't know when it will come, but it's bound to happen sometime in the future. Could be a year, ten years, one-hundred years - but it will happen, and I'm just hoping that I'll be around when it does.

I watch X-play but thats about it. AOTS simply sucks and everything else on the channel is re-runs. I'd suggest they go all the way and cancel everything and just be a 24 hr paid advertising channel.

You may say TechTV will never come back and we should move on because it's all online now. All I have to say is I'd pay $50/month if I could get TechTV HD... Consider that and the fact there's many folks like me, it's about time to start it back up.

I think G4 had it right at first when it was G4/techtv...It was very tolerable to watch, but then G4 wanted so bad to be like Spiketv. I miss ALL of the Old programming, The only thin really left to watch is X-PLAY. Why do they call it MOVIES THAT DON'T SUCK when they cut out all of the Good Parts? Don't they realize that makes the movie suck when you cut out Parts? R.I.P. Old Video Game Programming. You kept my heart gold while it lasted. lol

same here, I got my sattelite like 12-15 years ago, cant remember exactly, but zdtv was one of the first channels I ever saw, and I had my tv on that a good 85 percent of the time. Gamespot was awesome, and Lauren Fielder was cute as hell. It was weird when G4 first came on, and I had this paranoid thought that they are going to ruin it somehow. Turns out I wasnt paranoid at all. I think there should be a channel dedicated to tech on tv. And if I win the lotto, there will be. hahaha

i used to love g4 back when every show they aired had to do with gaming. in fact techtv & g4 were my two favorite netwoks. then the restructuring began and well, you know the rest.

ZDTV came about when computers were a niche product. This was great because we could learn so much and be fulfilled with our need for new tech and gadgets. For me, it was around 2002 when I could see the difference and it wasn't good. Once G4 came about it was over. And it has been ever since. I refuse to claim Attack of the Show! as the successor to The Screen Savers. Thank God some original personalities like Leo Laporte are keeping ZDTV somewhat alive. R.I.P. ZDTV. You are missed.

Well said. :) I was watching TechTV when it was still ZDTV. I loved it up until the G4 switch. However, I also love the fact that many of you (the hosts) are doing your own things and still keeping the TechTV spirit alive on the 'net. Thanks! :)

Yeah I watch Tekzilla but it's only two people with an alloted amount of time per week whereas TWiT Live is 24/7 and has several people.
